Jackson Sinnenberg is the Morning Edition Producer and Editor for WAMU 88.5 - Washington, D.C.'s NPR News Station. As an arts and culture reporter, his work has appeared in the Washington Post, JazzTimes, Downbeat, NPR Music, and the Washington City Paper. He began covering the city’s music scene for WGTB, Georgetown University’s radio station, where he was a show host, writer, and columnist. Jenna Henderson is a writer, songwriter, engineer and musician. A graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and a pianist since age 6, she has performed internationally as a keyboardist and front-woman. She has studied at the Michigan State Jazz Studies department, headed by bassist Rodney Whitaker, as well as under pianist Allyn Johnson at the University of the District of Columbia.
Savannah is a drummer and writer currently studying journalism at Howard University, where she writes the Hilltop newspaper’s “Femiknowledge” column. Growing up in Oakland, Calif., she learned drums at an early age, studying with her father Fred Harris and her step-father Khalil Shaheed. A member of the Howard University Jazz Ensemble, she has also performed independently with names such as Geri Allen and Marcus Belgrave.
